COSMOS Training

Whether your training requirements are Basic or Advanced, Prism has a course to meet your needs. All of Prism's COSMOSWorks students are provided with their own personal training computer and courseware. All COSMOSWorks classes are conducted by one of Prism's Certified COSMOSWorks Instructors.

Courses Available

COSMOSWorks Designer Training: (2-day course - 8:00am to 4:00pm)
This 2-day course introduces Finite Element Analysis, Linear Stress Analysis of Parts and Assemblies.

COSMOSWorks Professional Training: (3-day course - 8:00am to 4:00pm)
This 3-day course includes COSMOSWorks Designer Training, plus Heat Transfer analysis, Frequency Analysis, Stability Analysis based on linear Buckling concepts, and Drop Test studies.

COSMOSWorks Motion Training: (2-day course - 8:00am to 4:00pm)
This 2-day course will teach you how to use the COSMOSMotion simulation package to study the kinematics and dynamic behavior of your SolidWorks assembly models. The course provides an in-depth session on the basics of building, simulating and refining a mechanical design system, from suspension steering system and drive shafts to backhoes, CAMS, Gears, and Actuators.

COSMOSFloWorks Training: (2-day course - 8:00am to 4:00pm)
This 2-day course provides an in-depth session on the basics of turbulent fluid flow analysis, in addition to covering meshing concerns, modeling concerns, analysis, post-processing, available options and preferences.

COSMOS Advanced Professional: (4-day course - 8:00am to 4:00pm)
This class, created for Advanced COSMOSWorks users, will raise FEA skills to the next level! The advanced course offers hands-on experience on the user of COSMOSWorks nonlinear and Advanced Dynamics modules. The 4-day course provides an overview on a wide range of nonlinear structural/mechanical and dynamic analysis topics.
