When contacting technical support, please have the following
information available so our application engineer will be able to
assist you quicker:
- Company and contact information (phone & email)
- Mastercam version and product (Mill, Lathe, etc.)
- Sim number
- Video card manufacturer and model
- Video card driver and version
- Hardware / OS information (i.e. RAM, OS version & type [32
bit, 64 bit], network type etc.)
- An accurate, complete description of the issue. Send screen
shots and notes for specific comments. MS Paint can be used to
capture and annotate and image. Use ALT-PrntScrn and paste the
results into a paint program.
- If possible, try to duplicate the problem. The technician may
request you to do this while you're on the phone. Also be prepared
to submit part files, code files etc.
Mastercam's Zip2Go utility will capture all the files necessary.
