Prism Engineering Launches a Design and Analysis
Services Division

Philadelphia,
PA - June 23, 2011 - Prism Engineering is
pleased to introduce our Design and Analysis Services Division
(Prism D&A). Prism D&A was created in response to
customer demand for professional assistance in complex modeling and
product analysis, in order to improve designs, reduce material
costs, decrease time-to-market, and design safer products. Prism
D&A Specializes in assisting companies with product development
using finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics
(CFD), intricate surface modeling, design automation (Macros,
design tables, DriveWorks), and laser-scanning based reverse
engineering. The Prism Design and Analysis Services Division is
comprised of an expert analysis team with over 60 years of combined
experience in medical devices, automation, electronics, machine
design, and many other industries.
Meet Brad Snow :
Analysis Services Manager
Brad studied engineering design at the Georgia Institute of
Technology, where he earned his Master's degree in Mechanical
Engineering. For the past 14 years Brad has been developing his
skills in simulation-based design, juggling roles in technical
support, classroom instruction, contract services, and research.
During his PhD candidacy, Brad ran his own analysis consulting
business and co-founded Adroit Motion, LLC., a minimally invasive
surgical instrument company focusing on robotic hand instruments.
Brad rejoined Prism this January to build a professional services
division, frequently noting that "Design and Analysis is in our
DNA!"
The Prism D&A Division includes 10 certified SolidWorks
Support Technicians, 3 of whom have been awarded the Elite
Applications Engineer designation by SolidWorks Corporation for
their numerous certifications across the SolidWorks product
spectrum.
