Dimension 3D Printers are priced for office use, so you can
create onsite perfect working models directly from your CAD, made
of tough ABS plastic that can be sanded, milled, even painted. And
that's just the beginning:
The core of every model: FDM® technology.
Stratasys FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology provides
the foundation for all Dimension 3D printers. Two materials - one
for models, one for support - are heated in an extrusion head and
deposited in thin layers on a modeling base. The model is precisely
built layer upon layer. When the model is complete, the support
material is removed leaving an accurate, durable functional 3D
model.
